Subject Areas
A subject area is a listing of all attributes and measures in the space. Apart from the default subject area, a space administrator can create custom subject areas. Service Management Analytics has these predefined custom subject areas, which correspond to the different domains:
- Service Orders
- Rentals
- Service Contracts
- Warranty Claims
- Master
- Time
Each custom subject area contains only the corresponding dimensions and measures of a specific domain. A conformed dimension has the same set of attributes available across the different subject areas. These attributes are a subset of those in the default subject area. The measures, on the other hand, are grouped by business area per domain.
Security is defined for each custom subject area as well.
