Changing images on the Home and Login pages

The Infor portals are delivered with sample images that must be changed when you set up your Service Portal. To change the sample images, you can replace our files with your own and then check your images on the portal to make sure they are displayed as you expect.

Your image files must use the same file names and PNG file type as ours. For best results, your file sizes should also be similar to ours. Field display formats (FDFs), such as ImageSP1000x340, ImageSP308x136 or Image-SP165x60Click are used on image cells to further control the image size and format. FDFs can be adjusted by a portal developer as explained in the portal customization guide.

Note: On retina-ready devices, the pixel ratio for images is doubled. For example, an 80x80 image is shown in a 40x40 space. The sharpness of the retina-ready image is achieved by doubling the amount of pixels used within the available image space. The portal determines if the image is being displayed on a retina-ready device and makes the appropriate adjustment when necessary. Therefore, to support the display of images on a retina-ready device, you should load pictures that are double the size needed when shown on a typical monitor, and then limit the display size using the height and width parameters on the Image field display format.

This table shows the default image file names and pixel sizes that are used on the portal:
