Service Portal Home page and menus

The menu bars at the top and bottom of the Home page are available on all pages of the website. Links provided in each menu are described in this section.

The logo, text and pictures on the Home page are configurable and should be changed to personalize your portal. See Personalizing portals.

Top menu bar

On this menu bar, users can do these things:

  • Click the website logo to return to the Home page.
  • Click the help icon to access a help topic about the current page. The icon is displayed only if help is available for the page.
  • Access the Service, Activity, and Account menus, when signed in.

Service menu

This menu is used to access the Unit Registration, Service Incidents, and Service Knowledge Base pages. Partners have these additional pages: Service Orders, Service Order Transactions, and Warranty Claims.

Activity menu

This menu is used to access pages like Inventory, Interactions, and Announcements. Customers have these additional pages: Account Balance and Invoices. For the complete list of pages, see Service Portal pages.

Note: If you have enabled SX.e integration on the BOD Parameters form, the Account Balance and Inventory page options are not provided on the portal Home page. Infor Service Management is not the system of record for financials or inventory.

Account menu

This menu is used to access the Account Management and Contact Us pages. Partners also have the Customers page in this menu.

Users can click Sign Out to log out of the portal.

Bottom menu bar

On this menu bar, users can do these things:

  • Select a language for website content.
  • Click links to access the Home or Contact Us page.
  • Click the Help link to access a list of help topics.
  • Click links to access the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Terms and Conditions pages, if provided.
