Assigning permissions for component sets

A component set is a grouping of portal components, which can include site pages, assets, and help files. To access portal content, users must have permissions for the appropriate component sets.

Predefined component sets are provided for all content delivered with the IPF portals. The PortalPreLogin account and portal-specific user groups are also predefined. Only user accounts or groups already defined in the back office can be assigned to a component set.
