Apply data sources

  1. Select Portal Configuration > Data Sources. Notice that the Authenticator data source is already in the list.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Select Data Source field, select PortalSiteGroup and click OK. The PortalSiteGroup data source is added.
  4. In the grid, set this as the default data source for the portal.
  5. Click New.
  6. Select Create an Alias Data Source. For the alias name, you must specify PrimarySite with no spaces. Click OK. The PrimarySite data source is added.
  7. In the Data Source Name field, select your Primary Site data source.
  8. Click New.
  9. Click New.
  10. Select Create an Alias Data Source. For the alias name, you must specify LocalDataStore with no spaces. Click OK. The LocalDataStore data source is added.
  11. In the Data Source Name field, select the MSSQL data source.
  12. Click Save.
  13. If you are prompted to apply schema to managed data sources, click Yes. You must select all applicable check boxes and click OK. For more information, see "About managed schema" in the portal customization guide.
