Maintaining announcements on the portal

The Announcements page is provided on the Service Portal to display announcement information. You must add and maintain content for this page by accessing it in Administrator mode. This is done by logging in to the Service Portal using your portal data administrator account credentials. The portal opens to the Main page in Administrator mode and provides a link to the Announcements administration page. For information about using this page, see the online help provided in the portal when you log in as a data administrator.

In Administrator mode, links are also provided for importing and exporting portal announcements. Importing is used when migrating from earlier versions of the portal, and this is described in the Infor Portals Migration Guide. Exporting can be used any time you need to export announcements for backup or use in another application. See Exporting portal announcement data.
