Portal user prerequisites

Before you can create Service Portal user records with the portal User Account Management Utility page, these records must already exist in the back office:

  • For customers, the customer record with which the user account is to be associated must exist on the Customers form in all sites of the portal site group. The record must include this information:
    • Company Name
    • Address, including county and country
    • Language
    • Currency

  • For partners, the partner record with which the portal user account is to be associated must exist on the Partners form in all sites of the portal site group. Three types of partner records can be used. See Portal partner record requirements.
