IPFDate formatter
When you specify the IPFDate formatter, you can specify whether the date is validated, and, if so, what style to apply if the date is invalid. For example, you might use a red background to indicate an invalid date.
If you select Click for this FDF, and if the field that uses this FDF is enabled in the Layout Editor, then a date picker is displayed when users click in that field.

All browsers support the functionality described here. There is no fallback functionality for specific browsers. This table shows how the field is displayed with and without formatting:
