Adding development tools content

With the new portal record created and enabled for development, you can copy components from the Infor development tools content version to use in the new portal. To do so, you must add the IPF Dev Tools content in the Portal Manager.

  1. In the Portal Manager, select Portal Configuration > Content Activations.
  2. Click New.
  3. On the New Content Activation form, expand IPF Dev Tools and select the current content version.
  4. In Priority, specify a priority higher than zero but lower than the priority of the custom originator.
    Note: If there is no custom originator, the portal has not yet been enabled for development. This portal must be enabled for development before adding development tools.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Optionally, you can activate the DevStart feature. This allows you to use the Dev Tools Main page and Login page as the default pages for session initialization. If you plan to create custom default pages, you do not have to activate DevStart.
  7. Click Save.
