Managing component sets

A component set is a grouping of portal components, which can include pages; assets, such as image or video files; and help files. In order for portal users to access portal content, they must have permissions to the appropriate component sets. Only user accounts or groups already defined in the back office can be assigned to a component set.

Component sets and their permissions are maintained in the Portal Manager. When you create new pages for the portal, those pages must be added to a new or an existing component set.
