Creating custom email messages for the portal

The Infor back office applications provide various event notification email messages that are sent to portal users and/or back office users, based on portal actions. By default, the messages are sent as plain text or simple-HTML from the back office event system. You can select to use portal email messages instead, which are predefined rich-HTML messages sent from IPF.

If you set up your portals to use portal email, you can also create custom email messages to send from IPF. This section describes the APIs used for creating custom portal email messages.

Note: Currently, portal email can be used with only the application.
