Creating or modifying collection definitions

  1. In the Portal Manager, select Content Development > Collection Definitions.
  2. Perform one of these tasks:
    • To create a new collection definition, click New. Provide a name for the new collection definition and click OK. Click Edit to enable the property fields.
    • To modify an existing collection definition, select it in the list and click Edit.
  3. Specify this information:
    Data Source
    Select to use the default data source or specify a different one in the text field.
    Underlying Collection Name
    Select to use the same name or specify a different one in the text field.
    Attributes
    Specify the column to use for the timestamp and whether to inherit attributes from the collection.
  4. Click Save.
