Working with field display formats

Field display formats (FDFs) control the format of data in the IPF portals. Many customizations you make in a portal require modification to, or creation of, FDFs.

We provide the portal Field Display Format Editor, a browser-based application for creating and modifying FDFs. This editor can be accessed via the Portal Manager.

This chapter provides an overview of FDF Editor functionality and recommended steps for using this tool.
