About default style families

Note: These default style families apply to only portals, content version 10 or later.

We provide several style families you can choose from to change text and background colors for certain components on your portal pages. These default style families include one master theme, five color themes, and one white menu bar theme for each of the five color themes. This table describes the default style family options:


Style family	Description
MasterTheme	Top menu bar: black letters on a white background. Page title bar: white letters on a black background. Bottom menu bar: black letters on a light gray background. Buttons: white letters on a black background.
MasterTheme/Black	Top menu bar: white letters on a black background. Page title bar: dark gray letters on a white background. Bottom menu bar: white letters on a black background. Buttons: white letters on a black background.
MasterTheme/Black/WithWhiteMenu	Top menu bar: black letters on a white background Page title bar: white letters on a black background. Bottom menu bar: black letters on a light gray background. Buttons: white letters on a black background.
MasterTheme/Blue	Top menu bar: white letters on a blue background. Page title bar: blue letters on a white background. Bottom menu bar: white letters on a blue background. Buttons: white letters on a blue background.
MasterTheme/Blue/WithWhiteMenu	Top menu bar: black letters on a white background. Page title bar: white letters on a blue background. Bottom menu bar: black letters on a light gray background. Buttons: white letters on a blue background.
MasterTheme/Green	Top menu bar: white letters on a green background. Page title bar: green letters on a white background. Bottom menu bar: white letters on a green background. Buttons: white letters on a green background.
MasterTheme/Green/WithWhiteMenu	Top menu bar: black letters on a white background. Page title bar: white letters on a green background. Bottom menu bar: black letters on a light gray background. Buttons: white letters on a green background.
MasterTheme/Orange	Top menu bar: white letters on an orange background. Page title bar: orange letters on a white background. Bottom menu bar: white letters on an orange background. Buttons: white letters on an orange background.
MasterTheme/Orange/WithWhiteMenu	Top menu bar: black letters on a white background. Page title bar: white letters on an orange background. Bottom menu bar: black letters on a light gray background. Buttons: white letters on an orange background.
MasterTheme/Purple	Top menu bar: white letters on a purple background. Page title bar: purple letters on a white background. Bottom menu bar: white letters on a purple background. Buttons: white letters on a purple background.
MasterTheme/Purple/WithWhiteMenu	Top menu bar: black letters on a white background. Page title bar: white letters on a purple background. Bottom menu bar: black letters on a light gray background. Buttons: white letters on a purple background.

Note: MasterTheme and MasterTheme/<color>/WithWhiteMenu are intended to be used when you have a company logo image with black or other colors, because the background is white. If you use MasterTheme/<color>, you can use a white logo image, because the background is the selected theme color.
