Modifying portal pages

You can modify existing pages in the editable content version by using any of the portal editors. You can access the pages in these ways:

• If the page is accessible from a link in the portal, log in to the portal, navigate to the page to modify, and click the maintenance icon. In developer mode, you can inspect and edit page components as needed.
• If the page has been created but is not accessible from a link in the portal, launch the Portal Manager and select Content Development > Pages. Use one of these methods to open the page:
  • Click the page to work with and then in the toolbar, click Edit.
  • Right-click the page to work with and click View in Editor. When the Page Editor opens, click Edit.
  • Click Open Editor. When the Page Editor opens, click Load to find the page to work with. Select the page and click Edit.

• You can also launch any portal page by typing the page URL in a browser window. Once open, you can click the maintenance icon to access the page in developer mode.
