Errors when updating the control service IPF version in the farm

Job Name: UpdateControlServiceInFarm

Possible Error:

• Child job failed

  No message is displayed. The farm remains locked.

  To resolve, examine the child job(s) for failure, to determine the appropriate action.

Job Name: UpdateControlServiceOnServer

Parent Job: UpdateControlServiceInFarm

Possible Errors:

• The same errors as those that can occur when you add a server to or remove a server from the farm.

  Refer to the resolutions in the sections above. Cancelling the job unlocks the farm and leaves it at the updated IPF version level.
