Contract Aging Rates
Use this form to specify the rate at which a contract ages. The values specified affect the contract line rate. The multiplier is applied after the contract line rate is assigned.
Note: The contract aging rate is related to the install date of
a unit, and as such has no opportunity to be applied to a non-serialized item. The impact
is on the default rate applied to a contract line when the line is created. When a rate is
saved, the rate is not automatically changed over time, as invoicing does not change the
rate based on the age of the contract line. Clicking the button on the Contracts form only affects the
rate on the line if the line has not been billed.
