Viewing Open Warranty Claims

On the Warranty Claims Authorizations form, you can view a list of open warranty claims for the partner who is currently logged in. You can then authorize or reject the claims.

To view the open warranty claims for the currently logged in partner, turn off Filter-in-Place on the form. The information displayed in the grid for each incident comes from the Incidents form. All the fields in the grid are read-only except these fields:

  • Action: Use this field to authorize or reject the claim.
  • Amount Authorized: Use this field to specify the amount that has been authorized for the claim.
  • Warranty SRO Template: Use this field to select a SRO template.

The Notes, Reason/Resolution Notes, and Events grids display information related to the warranty claim.

The Customer Totals section shows additional information on these three tabs:

  • Critical Number: This tab shows critical number gauges for the authorized and denied claims in year-to-date format and month-to-date.
  • SRO History: This tab shows service order history for the associated SRO.
  • Incident History: This tab shows history for the associated incident.

The Unit Totals section shows additional information on these three tabs:

  • Critical Number: This tab shows critical number gauges for the authorized and denied claims in year-to-date format and month-to-date.
  • Warranties: This tab lists the unit warranties.
  • Contracts: This tab lists the unit contracts.
