Distribution SX.e integration updates

Distribution SX.e-style forms in Service Management

New versions of these service forms were created in the style of Distribution SX.e forms:

• Quotes
• Quote Section Codes
• Quotes Templates
• Service Order Change Orders
• Service Order Estimate Approval

These forms use the appearance and flow of screens found in Distribution SX.e. The names of the forms are annotated with a .sxe suffix, for example, Quotes.sxe.

Access to Quotes, Quote Templates, and Quote Section Codes is available from within CloudSuite Distribution (CSD), using a new mega menu options under the Service Management branch. Accessing the forms in Distribution SX.e provides a more efficient workflow that eliminates toggling between applications.

Estimate transaction support for non-stock transactions

You can now create estimate transactions by launching the SX.e Catalog/Non-Stock Query form from the Service Order Transactions form.

With this update, we added a new read-only PO Vendor field in the Service Order Transactions form, which is visible only when the Type field is set to Planned or Estimate. To populate the PO Vendor field, you must launch the SX.e Catalog/Non-Stock Query form from the Service Order Transactions form. The value of the PO Vendor field is derived from the Vendor field in SX.e Catalog/Non-Stock Query form.

If the PO Vendor field is populated, a purchase order associated with the planned material transaction, based on the estimate transaction, is automatically created.
