Resetting the app

The Reset button on the Settings form is intended to be used by development or support to purge data in the database on the local device, so that it can be refreshed from the back office. Tapping the button twice will usually complete the purge and reset process. However, when a mobile user wants to use a different configuration or connect to a new server, the mobile app should be deleted and re-installed to ensure the local database is reset.

Note: When you connect to the live environment, you might still see data from the test environment. The app stores data locally on your device. You must uninstall and re-install the app to clear out your local data before connecting to a new Service Management environment. You must do this every time that you copy a test environment to a live environment.
