Invoicing a customer

After expenses have been added, you can invoice the customer for the work.

  1. On the Appointment Details form, tap ... > Invoice & Payment.
    Confirm the estimate amount, which is the pretax amount.
  2. Tap Invoice.
    After the invoice has been processed on the server, the Invoice Number and Amount are displayed.
  3. Tap Signature and capture a signature from the customer.
  4. Tap Done to accept the signature.
  5. Tap Pay Later to submit an order invoicing task or tap Pay Now.
  6. If you selected Pay Later, optionally, tap OK to email the invoice report to the specified address. A new email address or a semicolon-separated list of addresses can be saved.
When emailing reports from the app, the back office utilizes the Customer Document Profile form to determine where to send reports.
