Creating a component class based on a component
To create a new component class based on a component:
- With a form open and in Design Mode, create a component or select a component that does not inherit from a component class.
- In the Component property sheet, specify for the Component Class property the name of the new component class.
- To confirm that you want to create a new component class, click .
- Select the Set Class From property, and then click the ellipses (...) button.
- Click .
