Decimal Position

This field indicates the number of digits to the right of the decimal point in a fixed-precision, numeric data type.

It is enabled only when the Data Type is set to one of these values:

• decimal
• numeric

If the Data Type is set to a user-defined data type that has a system data type, the Length field displays the decimal position (precision) of the system data type and is disabled.
