Testing App Metadata Transport results

To verify that the data was imported successfully, use one of these options:

Open the XML file and manually compare the file to the resulting Target database.
Run queries on the Target database:

Before you import the metadata, create a backup of the target database.
Import the metadata.
See Importing application metadata.
Restore the backup of the target database under a different name.
Run queries that compare the original (pre-import) database to the updated (post-import) database to determine what was changed and verify that it behaves as expected.
