Refresh Farm Metadata

Use the Refresh Farm Metadata form to refresh the metadata cache for either the current configuration or for all the configurations of the current tenant.

  • To clear the IDO metadata cache, click Refresh farm IDO Metadata.

    Optionally, to unload and restart the app domain and reload the shared custom assemblies, select the Refresh shared extension class assemblies option.

  • To clear the BOD metadata cache, click Refresh farm BOD Metadata.
Note: Depending on the number of servers in the farm and the amount of metadata to be processed, these processes can take a considerable amount of time. Ensure that you receive a success message before you proceed. When you refresh the BOD metadata, wait for three minutes before you move ahead.
