Applying languages to your application

Your Mongoose-based application inherently supports a number of languages, but not all languages are automatically loaded. Before you can use any supported language (other than the default language, U.S. English), you must load it into the system, using the Language Management form. This can typically be done only by authorized administrators.

  1. Open the Language Management form.
All supported languages display. Languages that have been loaded into the system display a check mark in the Add column check box.
  2. Select the Add check box for the language that you want to load.
  3. Click Process.
The application processes and loads all language packages for which the Add option has been selected. At the same time, if the Add check box for any currently available language has been cleared, that language package is removed.

When processing is complete, the application displays a message that sumarizes all the language packages that were loaded or removed.

  4. Click OK.
The application closes the message box and automatically saves your work.
