Maintaining PO Change Orders

Use the PO Change Orders form to view and make changes to change orders for purchase orders. To change the status of a change order:

  1. Open the PO Change Orders form.
  2. Filter for the PO whose change status you want to modify.
  3. This information is displayed for the PO:
    • The PO change number
    • Current date
    • User name of user currently logged in
  4. In the Change Status field, select the status that you want to update the change order to:
    • Open: All changes made to the PO are accumulated into the same PO change order.
    • Printed: A new PO change order is created for that PO.
    • Finalized: No updates can be made until you change the status to Printed. This causes the change order to print, which in turn causes the Change Status to be changed to Printed. You can then reopen the change order by changing the status to Open.
  5. Save the record.
