Adding Supplemental Items to a Contract

  1. Add any supplemental items to a parent item.
  2. On the Rental Counter form, navigate to the contract line to which you are adding items.
  3. Click Supplemental Items to launch the Supplemental Items Selection form.
  4. On the Supplemental Items Selection form, select the item or items to add to the contract.

    Optionally, filter to a specific item using the Item field.

  5. This information is displayed in the Parent Item grid:
    • Supplemental item name and description
    • The quantity recommended to support the parent item
    • The quantity of supplemental items on hand
    • The quantity of supplemental items available to rent
  6. Optionally, use the drag and drop functionality to add supplemental items to the Contract or Sales Order grids, which are used to generate contract lines or sales order lines. Or click Copy All To Contract or Copy All To Sales Order to copy the selected item.
  7. This information is displayed in both the Contract grid and Sales Order grid:
    • Item name and description
    • Quantity to copy
    • Unit of measure
  8. Optionally, specify the quantity of an item to copy in the Contract grid or Sales Order grid.
  9. Click OK to add the selections to the contract.
  10. Click Cancel to stop the process.
