Using the Bank Deposit Generation Utility

  1. Open the Bank Deposit Generation Utility form.
  2. Select a bank code to generate a list of each posted payment that has not been deposited for a particular bank.
  3. Select the date to assign as the transaction date when the bank transactions record are created. The current date is displayed by default.
  4. The grid lists this information for each posted payment that has not been deposited:
    • Deposit ID number
    • Amount of the payment
    • Check number
    • Customer number, name, and description
  5. Click Select All if you want to post all the records in the grid to bank reconciliation or use the Select check box to process individual records.
  6. The total amount to be deposited is displayed in the Deposit Total field.
  7. Click Post to Bank Rec to create a bank reconciliation record for the selected payments.
