Running the Customer Statements Report

  1. Open the Customer Statements Report.
  2. Use these check boxes to select the information to include in the report:
    • Print Zero Balance Customers
    • Print Credit Balance Customers
    • Print Aged Totals
    • Sort by Invoice
    • Print Open Payments
    • Show Active Transactions Only
    • Display Report Header
    • Print Euro Totals
    • Use Profile
  3. Specify this information:
    Print Posted Transactions
    Select which posted transactions to include in the report:
    • All
    • Old
    • None
    Site Group
    Select the multi-site group to use as the source for records.
    Aging Basis
    Select the date to use as the aging basis for transactions.
    Statement Comments Line 1
    Specify up to 31 characters for the first line of a message that is displayed on each statement.
    Statement Comments Line 2
    Specify up to 31 characters for the second line of a message that is displayed on every statement.
    Hide Paid Invoices Older Than
    Specify the maximum age in days that a paid invoice can be displayed on the statements.
    Statement Date
    The current date is displayed. Optionally, select a different date that you want the system to use in calculating the age of the transactions.
    Increment Date
    Select this check box to automatically re-run the report.
    Statement Cycles
    Select the statement cycles to include on the report.
  4. In the <= fields, specify the possible maximum age in days for an invoice for each of the five aging periods. The second, third, fourth, and fifth dates are based on the due date or the invoice date, as determined by the first date. The number specified indicates the lower limit for each entry. Use negative numbers to indicate future due dates and positive numbers to indicate past due dates. Specify the numbers in ascending order. The first <= field is usually a negative number, indicating items due in the future.
  5. In the Days fields, specify the name for each aging period.
  6. Select the range of customers and customer POs to include.
  7. Click Print to generate the report output.

The statements list this information:

  • Open item transactions
  • The total amount that each customer owes
  • The customer's amount due in each of the five aging buckets

If an invoice has multiple due date payment terms, a line prints for each scheduled payment that has not been completely paid.
