Delete Serials
Use this utility to remove Serial Master and Serial Tracking records based on the serial number retention date. You will lose tracking information for the deleted serial numbers.
These conditions must exist to delete the serial numbers:
- The Purge Date on the Service Serials form must be less than or equal to the current date.
- The serial number must be out of inventory or not used anywhere in the system.
- If the serial tracked item is also lot tracked, the lot will be deleted also if no other serial numbers are attached to the lot, and if the Purge Date on the Lots form is less than or equal to the current date.
