Cross Referencing an Item to a Vendor

  1. On the Vendor Item Cross Reference form, select Actions > New.
  2. Select the vendor to which you want to reference an item. The vendor name and currency are displayed.
  3. Select the item that you want to reference to the vendor. The item description and unit of measure are displayed.
  4. Optionally, specify this information on the General tab:
    Vendor Item
    Specify the vendor's part number for the item. You can print this number on purchase orders to help the vendor identify the order requirements.
    Rank
    The rank is displayed for the current vendor. The primary vendor for the item has Rank 1, the secondary vendor has Rank 2, and so on. Click Ranks to open the Ranks for Item form, where you can change the rank of this vendor.
    U/M (Vendor Item)
    The unit of measure is displayed for the vendor item.
    Lead Time
    Specify the vendor's lead time for the item. When you enter a PO line/release, the due date for the line item is the PO order date plus the lead time. This lead time is in calendar days, not shop days. For Regular line items the due date is as follows: Due Date = Ordered Date + Lead time. For Blanket line items the due date is as follows: Due Date = Release Date + Lead time
    Quote Date
    The last date on which you received a quote for this item from the vendor is displayed.
    Freight
    Specify the freight charges for the item.
    Duty
    Specify the duty charges for the item.
    Brokerage
    Specify the brokerage charges for the item.
    Break Quantity
    Specify the break quantities.
    Unit Price
    Specify the unit price for each break. See the example above.
  5. Save the record.

  • Quantity rejected YTD
  • Average lead time
  • Average lateness
  • Average cost
  • Average percentage
  • Lead time for the last order
  • Date of the last order
  • Last unit cost of the item
  • Last plan cost percentage
