Updating Credit Field Authorization

To update a system user's authorization to change a customer's credit hold status or credit limit, use the Users form.

To allow the user access to the Credit Hold check box:

  1. Open the Users form.
  2. Select the user for whom you want to update credit hold authorization.
  3. Clear the Super User check box.
  4. Save the record.
  5. Click User Authorizations to open the Object Authorizations for User form.
  6. In the Object Name field, select CustomerOrders.
  7. Save the record.
  8. Click Component Privileges to open the Component Authorization for User form.
  9. In the Name field, select CreditHoldEdit.
  10. In the Update Privilege column, select Granted or Revoked.
  11. Save the record.

To allow the user access to the Credit Limit or Credit Hold Reason fields, use these same steps with the proper component names (CreditLimitEdit and CreditHoldReasonEdit).
