Additional Ways to Use the Campaigns Form

This topic describes ways to use the Campaigns form.

The General tab tracks leads, opportunities, revenue, and cost.

This table describes the values on the tab:

Leads Maintains the number of leads predicted to be generated by the campaign System-calculated number of leads associated with the campaign Actual leads in relation to planned leads
Opportunities Maintains the number of opportunities predicted to be generated by the campaign System-calculated number of opportunities associated with the campaign Actual opportunities in relation to planned opportunities
Revenue Maintains the revenue amount predicted to be generated by the campaign Total amount from all opportunities of the campaign that are in an opportunity stage that is marked as a win or that have been converted to an order Actual revenue in relation to planned revenue
Cost Maintains the cost amount predicted to be incurred by the campaign Maintains the actual cost incurred by the campaign Actual cost in relation to planned cost

These fields are also populated on the General tab:

  • Leads Converted: The number of leads converted to orders (have a convert date assigned) that are associated with the campaign is displayed.
  • Opportunities Lost: The number of opportunities assigned to a stage representing a loss that are associated with the campaign is displayed.
  • Opportunities Won: The number of opportunities assigned to a stage representing a win that is associated to the campaign is displayed.

The grid on the Activities tab lists activities associated with the campaign. Click Add Activities or Edit Activities to open the Activities form in the selected mode.

The grid on the Contacts tab lists contacts associated with the campaign. Click Add Contacts or Edit Contacts to open the Contacts form in the selected mode. Use the grid to associate an existing contact with the campaign.

Buttons

Use the buttons on this form as described here:

  • Click Activities to open the Activities form filtered on activities referencing the current campaign.
  • Click Leads to open the Leads form in "Add" mode, filtered for the current campaign.
  • Click Opportunities to open the Opportunities form in "Add" mode, filtered for the current campaign.
  • Click Contacts to open the Contacts form filtered on contacts referencing the current campaign.
  • Click DataView to open a pre-defined CampaignDataView. Maintain this DataView from the DataViews Setup form.
  • Click Interactions to open the Interactions form.
