Unlock Locked Journals

Use this utility to unlock journals that are locked as a result of one of these operations being terminated prior to normal completion:

  • Editing a journal
  • Posting information into a journal
  • Posting a journal

If a Locked message is displayed when you enter certain processes, use this utility to unlock it. A user name of Service Management is required to perform this function.

Note:  Functions and journals may also be unlocked when performing a crash recovery on the Crash Recovery form.
