Running the Mailing Labels Report

  1. Open the Mailing Labels Report form.
  2. Specify this information:
    Sort by Postal/ZIP Code
    Select this check box to sort the labels by postal/ZIP code. Otherwise the labels are sorted by name.
    Print Country
    Select this check box to print the country on the label.
    Customer/Employee/Vendor Type
    Specify the type of customers, vendors, or employees to be printed, or leave this field blank to match all types.When printing labels for customers, the type you enter here (if any) must exactly match a record in the Customer Types form. For example, if you want to print labels only for retail customers, and you have defined a Customer Type called RETAIL, enter RETAIL in this field and select Customer in the Generate Labels For field. When printing labels for employees, the employee type (if entered) must be one of these: H (hourly), N (non-employee) or S (salaried).

    Select whether you want to print the label for a customer, employee, or vendor.
  3. For these fields, select the range of values to include in the report:
    • Name
    • Customer/Employee/Vendor
    • Province/State
    • Postal/ZIP
  4. Click Preview to view the output before printing.
  5. Click Print to run the report and view the output.
