Approving an Estimate SRO

Use the Approve Estimate SRO utility to change a service order status from Estimate to Open, and to copy estimate transactions to planned transactions.

  1. Typically, you will open the Approve Estimate SRO form by clicking Approve Estimate SRO on the Service Orders form.
    Some fields are automatically populated.
  2. Optionally, select a different approval date for the estimate.
  3. In the Est Approved By field, specify the name of the partner who approved the estimate.
  4. Optionally, specify this information:
    Priority Code
    Select the service priority code for the service order.
    New Working Status
    Select a new working status for the service order.
    Customer PO
    When the PO Required check box is selected, then the Customer PO field is required. Specify the customer PO number.
    PO Required
    This check box is automatically selected for service order estimates when the SRO number is populated.
  5. Click OK.
