Using the Partner Console

Use the Partner Console to view the incidents, transactions, and schedule for a selected partner. To populate the form, select a partner and date range for which you want to view information. The currently selected SRO information is automatically updated as you click on various appointments and grid lines. This information is used as the default values for the SRO, line, and operation when the SRO transaction entry forms are opened.

The table below describes the main tabs and the information displayed on each.

Tab Description
My Schedule tab

This tab has two main features:  

  • Appointments grid
  • Calendar

The Appointments grid lists this information for each appointment for the current partner:

  • Appointment start time
  • Hours
  • Description
  • Reference type, number, line, release, and sequence

You can view the calendar by day, week, or month. The calendar shows scheduled appointments for the current partner.

My Incidents tab

This tab lists the open and complete incidents for the current partner. Use the check boxes to select whether to view open or complete incidents.

In the Status Code field, select the status of the incident.

This information is displayed in the grid:

  • Incident number
  • Date
  • Description
  • Unit
  • Item
  • SSR number and name
  • Owner
  • Customer
  • Ship To
  • Contact
  • Meter date and amount
  • Closed status
  • Duration and unit of duration
  • Estimated time remaining
  • Reference, reference number, and reference line

Use these buttons on the tab as described here:

  • Click Units to open the Units form.
  • Click Customer History to open a DataView listing customer information.
  • Click Item Availability to open the Item Availability form.
  • Click Reason/Resolutions to open the Incident Reason/Resolution mobile form.
  • Click Create Incident to open the Incident Quick Create form.
My Operations tab

The grid on this tab lists this information for the current partner's operations:

  • SRO number
  • Line number
  • Operation number, code, and description
  • Status
  • Warehouse
  • WC
  • Duration and unit
  • Estimated time remaining

This additional information is displayed for each SRO:

  • Customer
  • Ship To
  • Status Code
  • Unit
  • Item and description
  • Start/End date

Use the buttons on the tab as described here:

  • Click Inspections to open the Service Order Line Inspections form.
  • Click Inspection Sign-Off to open the Mobile Sign Off form when using a mobile device.
  • Click Units to open the Units form.
  • Click Customer History to open a DataView listing customer information.
  • Click Reason/Resolutions to open the Incident Reason/Resolution mobile form.
  • Click Create SRO to open the Quick SRO Create form.
  • Click Map to open the Map form.
  • Click Quote to open the Quotes form.
My Current Work tab

This tab lists the SROs that the current partner is working on. The SRO Transactions grid lists this information:

  • SRO number and description
  • Line number
  • Operation number and description
  • Work code and description
  • Hours worked and hours to bill
  • Item
  • Transaction date

Click Service Order Transactions to open the Service Order Transactions form, filtered for the current partner.

The critical number gauge shows the percentage of planned labor that has been completed by the current partner.

On the left pane of the form, you can filter for a service order in the Currently Selected SRO field and quickly view information in these tabs:

Expense Codes tab

This tab lists information in these three grids:

  • Labor Work Codes
  • Miscellaneous Codes
  • Items

Click the grid title links to initiate Filter-in-Place mode for the associated grid.

Planned Transactions tab

This tab lists all of the planned material, labor, and miscellaneous transactions for the currently selected SRO. This information is displayed for each transaction:

  • SRO
  • Line
  • Operation
  • Type
  • Item/Work Code
  • Item description, quantity and unit of measure
  • Hours Worked

The Partner Console utilizes drag and drop functionality with these four buttons:

  • Clock On/Off
  • Material
  • Labor
  • Miscellaneous

This table describes the possible actions when you drag a row from one of the grids onto an icon:

Clock On/Off When clocking off, the SRO Labor Clock Off form is opened. When clocking on, the current time stamp is captured for the SRO and partner.

Open the SRO Material Entry form, filtered for the SRO, line, operation, and partner information.

The item information is displayed by default if you dragged a row from the Expense Code - Items grid or Planned Transactions grid.

Labor

Open the SRO Labor Entry form, filtered for the SRO, line, operation, and partner information.

The work code information is displayed by default if you dragged a row from the Expense Code - Work Codes grid or Planned Transactions grid.

Use these buttons on the form when working with a mobile device:

  • Click Work Order Sign-Off to open the Mobile Sign Off form, where you can sign off on a work order.
  • Click ProForma Sign-Off to open the Mobile Sign Off form, where you can sign off on a Pro Forma invoice.
  • Click Inspection Sign-Off to open the Mobile Sign Off form, where you can sign off on an inspection report.
