Integration updates

Invoice Exception Center

We added a new workbench-style form, called Invoice Exception Center, which provides an administrator-level view of integration data. Instead of checking multiple forms, use the Invoice Exception Center to review integration data and understand the status of orders and invoices that have integrated to Distribution SX.e. Next, you can use the form to initiate any remediation that is needed to resolve issues.

From the form, you can easily regenerate the invoice BOD and open related forms for further investigation.

Retrying BODs

Previously, if the Process.Invoice BOD failed, the Sync.ServiceOrder BOD was not retried before retrying the Process.Invoice BOD. The system needs to confirm that a service order exists first, before retrying the Process.Invoice BOD.

Now, you can select Retry Service Order BOD with Invoice BOD on the Integration Parameters form to ensure that the system resends the Sync.ServiceOrder BOD first, if the Process.Invoice BOD failed with the reason "Sales order for service order not found."

Distribution SX.e-style forms in Service Management

New versions of these service forms were created in the style of Distribution SX.e forms:

  • Incident Quick Create
  • Incidents
  • Quick SRO Create
  • Service Orders
  • Service Order Close Utility
  • Service Order Lines
  • Service Order Operations
  • Service Order Transactions
  • Service Order Work Order Report
  • Signatures

These forms use the appearance and flow of screens found in Distribution SX.e. The names of the forms are annotated with a .sxe suffix, for example, Contracts.sxe.

In most cases, you will use these forms in Distribution SX.e, where they have also been added. Accessing the forms in Distribution SX.e provides a more efficient workflow that eliminates toggling between applications.
