Creating a Quote (Mobile)

  1. Open the Quotes form.

    You can open the form by clicking Quote on the Partner Console form in the back office or by clicking the Add toolbar button on a mobile device. If you open the form from the Partner Console, the Reference, Reference Number, and Description are displayed.

  2. If you opened the form by clicking Add, select Opportunity or Service Order as the Reference.
  3. Select the particular service order or opportunity for which you want to create a quote. A description of the reference is displayed by default.
  4. Save the record. The net price of the quote is displayed.
  5. Optionally, click Create Revision to create a new revision of the quote. The current revision will no longer be accessible. The Revision field shows the number of the current revision.
  6. Optionally, click Approve Estimate to convert a service order estimate quote to an open service order and to copy the estimate transactions to planned transactions. After a quote is approved, it can no longer be edited.
  7. The Lines grid shows any quote lines for the current quote. Optionally, click Add/Delete Lines to open the Quote Lines form.
  8. Optionally, click Terms Conditions to open the Quote Terms form, filtered for the current quote.
  9. Optionally, capture a customer's signature for the quote and click Accept.
