New Form Wizard (Design Mode)

Note: This topic describes the New Form Wizard as it exists in and operates in the Windows client (in Design Mode). The web client has a similar wizard for creating new forms. See Form Wizard Selection.

In the Windows ("smart") client, use the New Form Wizard to create forms. You can create forms that are either completely new or based on an existing form.

To access this wizard, you must first be in Design Mode. To start the wizard once in Design Mode, select Form > Definition > New or click the New Form Wizard icon on the toolbar.
