Changing theme colors in the Windows client

You can set your own colors for fonts (foreground color), backgrounds, and required field indicators in the Theme Editor. The procedure to change colors is the same for every color specification.

Note: Before you modify a theme, ensure that the theme is locked or checked out on your user account.

To change theme colors in the Windows client:

  1. Open the Theme Editor.
  2. Create a new theme or select the theme that you want to edit.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select the item in the tree pane that you want to edit.
  5. For components or levels where you can change the color, click the drop-down arrow in the field.
  6. The Theme Editor displays a color picker dialog box.
  7. Select one of these options:
    • None
    • Solid Color
    • Gradient
Note: The Gradient option is not always available. If you select Gradient, there are additional controls at the bottom of the window that control the appearance of the gradient.
  8. Change the R, G, B, and A controls as desired.

These are standard RGBA values. You can set the numeric value, use sliders, or click in the color box to get the color you want.

  9. Close the window.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click Done.
