Unlocking Forms

Unlocking an object effectively reverts it to the state it had before you checked it out.

Note: You can unlock objects that you have previously checked out and objects that others have checked out. Other developers can also unlock objects that you have checked out.

To unlock a form, with or without its associated template or global objects:

  1. Open the Form Control  form.
  2. In the Actions group box, select Unlock.
  3. Select the Forms tab.
  4. From the Run-time form name field, select the form you want to unlock.

Note:  If you try to select an object that you do not have checked out, the system generates a warning. The easiest way to avoid this is to click Select All. The system selects only the objects you have checked out. You can then clear the check boxes for any objects you do not want to unlock at that time.
