Maintaining Item Lots and Locations

  1. Open the Item Lot Locations form.
  2. Filter for the warehouse for which you want to view information.
  3. This information is displayed for the selected row:
    Name
    The name of the warehouse is displayed.
    Item
    The item number is displayed.
    (Item Description)
    A description of the item is displayed.
    Issue By
    The method used to issue the item is displayed.
    U/M
    The unit of measure for the item is displayed.
    Cost Method
    The method used to track and post cost ledger transactions for the item is displayed.
    S/N Track
    If serial number tracking is enabled for this item, the check box is selected.
    On Hand
    The quantity on hand of the item at the warehouse or the lot/location is displayed.
    Reserved
    The quantity of the item at all warehouses that is reserved for sales orders is displayed.
    Non-Nettable Stock
    The amount of the item that is non-nettable stock is displayed.
  4. This information is displayed on the General tab:
    Lot
    The entire lot number for the current item is displayed.
    BinLoc 1/2
    The BinLoc 1 and BinLoc 2 fields are read-only. They show the location for an SX.e item, if applicable. These fields are only relevant for users who are integrating with SX.e.
    Location
    The location for the current lot tracked item is displayed.
    On Hand
    The quantity on hand of the item at the warehouse or the lot/location is displayed.
    Reserved
    The amount of the item that is reserved at the current lot/location and warehouse is displayed.
    Unit Cost
    The unit cost of the item is displayed. This amount is calculated by adding the totals on the Costs tab.
    Total Cost
    The total cost is displayed. The calculation is: UC * OH = TC, where
    • UC = Unit Cost
    • OH = quantity shown in the On Hand field
    • TC = Total Cost
  5. On the Costs tab, totals are displayed for these amounts:
    • Material Cost
    • Labor Cost
    • Fix Ovhd Cost
    • Var Ovhd Cost
    • Outside Cost
    • Total Unit Cost
