Performing a Mass Customer Update

  1. Open the Mass Customer Update Utility.  
  2. Select the customer to use as the source. The source customer is the record that is manipulated. If the target customer value is populated, then the information from the source, including newly entered/changed data, is copied to the range of customers specified.
  3. Click Load Source Data to populate the Source Customer Data fields.
  4. Select the range of customers to which you want to copy information.
  5. Click Refresh to populate the Target Customers grid with a record for each customer in the range you selected.
  6. Optionally, specify a partial name or phrase in the Name Like field to populate the grid instead of selecting a range of customers.
  7. In the grid, select the records to which you want to copy information, or click Select All to copy to all of the records.
  8. Optionally, make changes to the source customer records.
    Note: If the update check box is not selected, any changes to the specific source data are not saved upon processing.
  9. Click Process to commit changes and copy the source values to the target customer.

This utility combines multiple maintenance forms into one. This table shows the grids provided and the correlating maintenance form each represents:
