Warehouse to Warehouse Bulk Transfer
Use this utility to perform bulk transfer of items in one warehouse to a different warehouse within a site. When you click , items are moved from the location in the old warehouse to the location in the new warehouse. Lot tracked and serial tracked items are also moved.
The To Warehouse and the From Warehouse must exist within the same site. This control prevents a site from erroneously making a bulk transfer for another site.
The old locations still exist after a bulk transfer, but the quantity on hand at these locations is zero. If any location does not exist in the new warehouse, the system creates it automatically.
It is possible to have multiple lines per item due to multiple lots and/or multiple LIFO entries along with Actual Costing (LIFO, FIFO, Specific). Unit cost is based on the official G/L cost. Actual Costs, when different, are not shown in the output from this utility. The output is ordered by From Location, item, and lot.
