Item Availability
This form provides a display of current inventory. It takes into account the inventory at all locations to give an integrated picture of what is:
- Available immediately
- Allocated for SROs, sales orders, or transfers
- Expected from purchase orders (POs), transfer orders (TOs), or is in process.
The data that this form retrieves is a "snapshot" of each site at the time that you call the form. In other words, this form does not present a dynamic, constantly updated view.
The inventory situation at each site, however, can constantly change as new transactions occur (such as receiving POs or TOs, customer returns, issuing material, shipping orders, and so on). As time passes and new transactions occur, the data on this form becomes out-of-date. To get a current view if it has been open for awhile, you must close and reopen the form.
