Setting Up Price Breaks

  1. On the Customer Item Pricing form, specify this information:
    Break Quantity
    Specify the quantity for the price break.
    Base Code
    Select the unit base price: Unit Price 1-6, Cost, or None.
    Plan Cost
    Specify the estimate cost of the item based on the applicable costing method. This value is used in providing a price for break quantities using a base code of cost.
    Amount/Percent
    Select is the price break is based on an amount or a percentage.
    Value
    Specify the value. This is the amount or percent that is used in calculating the unit price. The value amount can be either positive or negative. The value is based on the base unit of measure for the item, not the customer unit of measure.
  2. To calculate the unit price, click Unit Price.
  3. Repeat these steps for each price break that you want to create.

    You can create up to five price breaks for the customer item.

  4. Save the record.
