Running the Purchase Order Report

  1. Open the Purchase Order Report.
  2. Specify this information:
    PO Type
    Select the type(s) of purchase orders to include on this report: regular or blanket.
    PO Status
    Select the statuses of purchase orders to include in the report:
    • Planned
    • Ordered
    • Complete
    • History (this option is not available on all purchase order reports)
    PO Line/Release Status
    Select the line/release statuses to include in the report:
    • Planned
    • Ordered
    • Complete
    • Filled
    • History
    Print Item
    Select which item identification number to display on the orders being printed:
    • Item: Print the item number as displayed in the PO line/release.
    • Vendor Item: Print the vendor item number from the PO line/release.
    Round to Decimal Places
    Specify the number of decimal places to be displayed in the Quantity Ordered field (up to three).
    Translate to Domestic Currency
    Select this check box to translate amounts in the report to the domestic currency.
    Use Profile
    Select this check box to use the associated vendor/customer document profile, if one exists.
    Post Status Changes
    Select this check box to change the PO status from Planned to Ordered when you print the report.
    Consolidate Items
    Select this check box if you want to group items purchased from the same vendor under one line for the total amount, as opposed to creating a separate line for each item.
    Date to Appear on PO
    The current date is displayed by default. Optionally, select a different date to print on the purchase order.
    Increment Date
    Select this field to have the system automatically increment date ranges and re-run reports.
  3. Use these check boxes to select the information you want to print on the report:
    • Print Standard Order Text
    • Print Line/Release Description
    • Print Blanket Description
    • Print Euro Total
    • Print Order Notes
    • Show PO Lines with Vendor RMA
    • Print Line/Release Notes
    • Print Blanket Notes
    • Print External Notes
    • Print Internal Notes
  4. For these fields, select the range of values to include in the report:
    • Purchase Order
    • Line/Release
    • Due Date
    • Vendor
    • Order Date
  5. Select Increment Date to put the report on the Background Queue and automatically increment the date ranges and re-run the report.
  6. Click Preview to view the output before printing.
  7. Click Print to run the report and view the output.
