Adding a New Opportunity Stage

  1. On the Opportunity Stages form, select Actions > New.
  2. Specify this information:
    Opportunity Stage
    Specify a name for the stage. For example, Stage 1.
    Description
    Specify a description for the stage.
    Opportunity Forecast Group
    Close Probability Percent
    Specify a number that represents the level of confidence in winning this opportunity. When the stage is assigned to the opportunity, this probability is assigned.
    Win and Loss options
    Select Win, Loss, or None to define the stage as already won, already lost, or still active.
  3. Save the record.
